Wait! This is an Oled?!
This is a fantastic price for this TV.
Again, I absolutely love the TV. This is probably the best "bang for your buck" TV at the moment.
The LG will be better for some things (e.g., blackest blacks), but it actually looks worse in other areas (e.g., brightness).

I bought an extended warranty from Upsie for like $145 for 5 years, no deductible. Use code APPLES for 10% off. I've used Upsie for years with my cellphones and always had a great experience.

Lol. Ok. This may be a very good "lcd/led" tv , but I have two oleds and I've owned quite a few good lcd/led's. The only thing this tv may have over ANY oled is peak brightness.
Looking at the Rtings scores, this tv is beaten by the cx lg in every category except "tv shows", where they're tied.
Save up a little more money and buy the oled. These lcd/LED's have terrible of off axis viewing. There's a very narrow "sweet spot". I'm still waiting for lcd/led tv's to "fix" that problem, and the blooming problems.

By all means, spend an extra $600 for minimal gain. It's your money.
Lol, not on par. Don't misconstrue things to make it seem better than it is. This is a good LCD, but it's not on the same level. Also, it's a Hisense, which itself is a detriment.

So, basically you're admitting you have no experience with it, yet you're giving your opinion via vicarious experience.
Go ahead and see yourself out until you've actually owned an OLED. "Worse brightness." Lol. You need to work on your adjectives.
For an enthusiast who is willing to pay for better performance and can live with not pausing static images on the screen or watching CNN, red zone, etc., all day then sure OLED's are great. I have always had plasma's, don't have kids or game and I know my wife and I can handle it and not destroy it in a few years. Most people... just get a LED that looks decent at Costco and call it a day.
