The 12 month warranty on the non-replaceable LED bulbs makes the 5 year warranty for the lights about worthless.
I have 3 of the 1080 as well and recently upgraded one to a 2k floodlight camera. I saw no difference in image quality, so I printed an eye chart and placed it 10ft away for a controlled test. Both the 1080 and 2k allowed me to read only the 20/63 line. Convinced I got a bad 2k camera, I tested the 2k indoor camera with the same results.

I think the effective resolution is limited by the tiny cheap lenses, not the sensors. So, 2k means you get larger files without benefit.

Oh, and I did try yelling, *Enhance!* at the screen like in the movies, but it didn't work :-(
Was about to pull the trigger until I read that the bulb is not replaceable. Gonna look for something else.

Bought 3 of these during a home depot clearance at $48.xx. Its a solid security light and camera for the price. Would recommend them, I bought another to place on the backside of the house. I've been trying to find a good deal on one and at $100 or so plus tax is reasonable.

This is the 1080p model without AI person detection. It's most likely going to alert you for any movement such as a leaf that flies by.
I just finished installing the floodlight. It did not trigger cars driving by but it did trigger me walking. In my setting, i select "human only" instead of the "all motion".

Will be interesting to see the quality at night.

Where do you see the "human only" option? All I see under the motion detection settings are Low to High going from 1 to 5.

Under "Motion Detection" and select "detection type". Make sure you are running the latest iOS Eufy app.

This is perhaps where the great divide lies. I'm on Android and don't have that option.

I got one last year and 9 months in the LED bulb died. Like others have said, the bulb is not replaceable rendering this thing worthless at night.
Return it. 1 year warranty. Problem solved.

Not to jinx it but with my luck, it'll die a month after the warranty expires. I have the whole Lorex POE system, but right now, i'm bombarded with notifications of spider webs, bugs, leaves, etc. At least with this system, it's been quiet.

We have four of these. We love them. Picture at night is great. Handles severe storms with no issue so far. The bulb is LED so it should last a long time, and there are many comments and instructions online about how to replace LED bulbs in floodlights. For this price (I paid double for each), you cannot go wrong. The picture beats the crap out of the Blink XT night vision BTW.

Just some questions if anyone knows:

If this is on a switched light, then the switch would have to stay on all the time. But to turn on the camera manually, is it easy to do in the app or do you have to go through multiple menus? Does it have an option to turn on the light on motion only? How much electricity does this use?

It's easy to open the app and record manually. If you don't want to automatically record on motion events, you can disable that. Note that this camera cannot do continuous recording, so if you disable motion detection you'll be left with an expensive floodlight.

You can switch the light with motion, on a fixed schedule, sunset to sunrise, or manually. The manual option is on the product list, which is the opening menu of the app.

I installed a lot of the LED recessed lights and while they are guaranteed for 5-7 years depending on the vendor, i've already had a few that died. That said, I've picked up one of this floodlight and prays to whoever that will bless my floodlight to last a few years.
