Connects via wifi and uses local storage. Mine seems to keep about 2 weeks worth of "events", of which you can download to your mobile device through the app if you want to keep a permenant copy of a particular video.
The wired version can't connect to homebase
The wireless version offers an option to hardwire it to your existing doorbell wiring. It will keep the battery constantly charged, eliminating the need to remove the battery and charge it every several weeks/months. Note that you'll need to have an existing powered doorbell in place to take advantage of this feature - in my case, I was able to hardwire the battery version to my existing doorbell wring, and also use my existing doorbell chime (helps with family acceptance). The battery version requires the homebase, as others have mentioned, meaning that video clips are stored inside your home rather than locally as on this wired version. I have two of the wireless eufy doorbells for front and back door - I bought them during the "Black Friday" holiday buying season last year - they've been flawless.

No monthly fees. I had this at my last house and it worked great.
It would have been near perfect if it worked with the base and if Eufy supported IFTTT.

Anyone know how this compares to the one from Feit for $49.99 at Costco?

I have this one. It's nice that it has 24/7 recording (as opposed to the "event only" recording of the wireless models), but it's annoying that it's local storage only and doesn't communicate with the HomeBase at all. I thought when they released it that they promised HomeBase integration via an update, but that hasn't happened.

I strongly recommend going with the 2k version. The 1080p isn't very clear.

I had the wired version originally. Then got the outdoor cam system with Homebase. So I got the wireless version to connect it to make it wired so I could have Homebase access. I'm very happy with it. I've been happy with all of my Eufy smart home equipment so far.

What do you mean by connecting the wireless and wired versions?

I switched to the battery version, but have it powered so it is always plugged in. Now, I can save to the Homebase and don't have to worry about charging the doorbell.

Looks like the eufy wired 2k version is $155-50coupon = $105. Go with that or another brand?
