Bought 3 pair of 38x32 in May for the same price. The reviews reporting irregular sizing were true in my experience. Waist was pretty snug. Thought they might work out but fit more like a 37 after a wash & dry.
Waist way to tight
Mega high waisted mom jeans from the late 80's early 90's are back in style for women now. I'd say we're getting close to coming full circle on relaxed fit & cargo shorts men. Hang in there & leave the skinny's for the hipsters, lol.

I find it hilarious that hipsters today are bringing back 80s fashion. The same ones who are hellbent on making ugly gold faucets and vanity knobs in vogue made that call I guess
Fashion really is nothing but a huge cycle though. I remember in the early 90s tie dye shirts and ponchos were the rage, like it was 1969 all over again. Every generation is obsessed with the time period just before they were born it seems.
Boys, it's time to move on from relaxed fit. It looks dated and not worth the deal. By no means am I implying everyone needs skinny, but get something more form fitting. It's not 1998
Just got these in... these guys run SMALL in the waist. I'm no seamstress but all my other pants I wear comfortably are 34s. I got these in 36s based on reviews and these are way more snug than any other pair I have. I checked the amazon reviews and another person said the 36s feel like 32s... i have to agree
Every generation had some winning fashion and some ugly fashion.
Today, it seems like all the ugly stuff is 'coming back in style' and it's 'coming back' in random ugly colors. I don't see any good fashion this gen though.
Don't kid yourself with the 'it doesn't matter what color/what people think' stuff. If you dress in ugly clothes in random ugly colors, you are going to look dumb.
Cargo short, Jean shorts, etc are horrible, for example. They aren't 'coming back' Shouldn't wear shorts at all, makes you look stuck in childhood, even if you are in college (even high school aged). long pants in summer isn't a bad thing at all. People are just indiscriminately wearing them and looking horrible.
1/3 of my wardrobe is classic style jeans (not skinny, not loose), some shoes that look like the ones the model in this product are wearing. a nice shirt, or high quality t-shirt, belt. Timeless look, and lets me skirt all the bad fashion presently in force.
These pants are too high waist, and has pockets that make it look too 'cargo' for social occasions. I like the material, wish to see it in a different form.
Great for certain jobs, but I wouldn't get it in some whacked out color.
Good luck not looking like a clown like a growing number of the young are doing.
Got mine in today. They seem really baggy after having only worn regular cut pants for awhile. For the price are still good for doing yard work in, running errands, lazy days around the house instead of wearing shorts or khakis.

Unless you are a hot single woman, your opinion means nothing to us.

Why not both?

How you dress does matter. You've been warned.
