While this is a good price, I would recommend a kit with T-handles for the insert and probe tool. Your hands will thank you when you're trying to get a good grip while puncturing and plugging the tire.
Also there is a 25% off promo code CHRISFIX25 that is not listed on the AAP website
At this price it's worth it if you need a valve core tool or the valve cores themselves. As was mentioned above, a T-handle is really needed to put a plug in a tire. Also, the i have always had problems with every black "radial" rope plug. The brown "tubeless" rope plugs work really well. I would recommend the kit Harbor Freight sells for plugging tires. It goes on sale pretty regularly for a similar price to this.

AA is replacing "slime" brand with another brand(unknown at this time). I was able to clean out two stores and still only able to order 1 16oz, 2 gal., and a kit.(fingers crossed). Good find. Always needing this stuff.

Agreed. This would be ok for a ATV, Go kart, etc. BUT wouldn't be fun for a car or truck
The tube of rubber cement may be enough for one to two patches max. I got the 8 oz slime rubber cement and it will last for more future patches. https://shop.advanceautoparts.com...lsrc=aw.ds
What are y'all doing to need one of these kits? I've been driving for 30 years and maybe had one puncture in my life… also most car and tire companies repair punctures for free.
I get at least 2- 5 nails or screws in my tires at least every year, because Philly roads are constantly being repaired and I constantly travel to NY for work.
Lol, where they do tire plugs for free? I been living in Philadelphia for 25+ years and all the nearby tire and repair shops take $10 to $20. Only Walmart, SamsClub and Costco do free tire repair if the tires were purchased and installed there originally.

Goodyear , discount tire , Firestone .. all do them free around here. And they don't need to be their brand or purchased there
