Amazon deal of the day. >700 TBW w/ 3 years warranty. TLC NAND and "SK Hynix Quartz" controller onboard.

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07SN...UTF8&psc=1

The 1TB model is now $79.79 if you clipped the coupon. One of the best deal right now for reliable TLC SSDs.

$14 cheaper last BF. So.... not sure. Inflation has hit computer parts that require rare earth metals particularly hard. But then again, the video card shortage has caused prices to halt or fall for many parts that are not a video card. So probably cheaper, but $14 cheaper may not be a thing.
Worth risking to save $5 or maybe $10 if you happen to be online for the correct sale? Maybe...

The SDD though, think that is at the price it was last BF. What I paid for it anyways.

Where did you get that it was $14 cheaper last BF? Searching through SD, it looks like this sale price today is lower than last year's BF sale price.

I got the Gold P31 1TB for my new laptop recently (paid $115). 3500/3200 r/w in CrystalDiskMark and supposedly very efficient / low heat. Great deal for $104.

Looks like the 2TB ver is oos and not available to backorder. My dad would have liked one.

this won't work for PS5...... right?
Click on the link, and if it says gen 3… no. Has to be gen 4.

I know this only from casually shopping for m.2 SSDs here on SD, not even a PS5 owner.

Unless you were joking…then unhelpful LOL

That's correct. P31 was around $120+ typically and I had purchased S31 for $84 plus taxes last December, and now slightly cheaper with the extra 5% off coupon.
