I have varicose veins, I noticed when I wore my Merrell Jungle Moc shoes that I could shop longer and my feet/legs didn't ache as much. Then I had a podiatrist tell me that my arches were "falling" and recommended the Superfeet. Took out the Merrell insoles and put in the Superfeet (they take a couple of days to get used to them), and now I won't wear shoes without arch support.
My son ran XC in high school and college, he also swears by the Superfeet (orange); he started working retail and figured his athletic shoes (no orthotics) would be fine, he came home complaining about how much his legs ached. Got him some Merrell's, put in the Superfeet and no complaints (same response with another son working retail, and husband that walks on concrete all day).

yep, i said the same thing years ago when i made notice too. esp NB. Without fully knowing, i had to conclude it's not something they want to invest time/money into and was more efficient (whether time/ money or both) to just outsource it basically.
few hours ago i placed an order for one the Hickory products, under their 10seconds line. Need one for one of my asics. Since it's been broken in the past 12 months I'm going to change out the birkenstock made in germany cork padded heel cup I've had in there and save it for my next new asics.
