FYI for those who have already made the switch from XBL to GP via the $1 promo:

36mo of XBL Gold @ $150 = 12mo of Game Pass Ultimate @ $150 ... whereas it's relatively easy to pickup:
* 3mo of UGP for $30 ($10/mo), or
* 12mo of UGP for $120 ($10/mo), and typically with 12mo codes, you can stretch it to 13mo if you opt-in for auto-renewal after the 13th month. Note that once the 13th month begins, you can now disable auto-renewal ... and then a few days later extend by another 12mo (with MS offering a 13th month, etc).

What a waste of money to use subscription based. Why don't you guys wait for sales, and buy a game like for $13-14, have 2-3 games at a time, play it for a like 6 months and then buy another one when on sale. It maybe digital or not.
Subscription based is just ripping you off !!! Why folks???
Big boomer energy. Game Pass is the best value in gaming and that's before the $1 upgrade for 3 years. Do you even Xbox bro?

anyone got the conversion breakdown? I forget is this going to translate to about 7-8 months added to GPU? I don't want to sit on a digital code too long and have a mishap that I can't get a refund or something. Since I've seen ppl say they've got bad or expired codes from some of the online stores in the past. My GPU expires at the end of November (which I did the $1 conversion back when it first started)

Not sure I'm following.

So I moved from XBL to GP for $1 some time back. You're saying I can buy 3 of these for $150 and it would convert to 1 year of GP only?

So best to just buy those 3 or 12 month that you mentioned?

Why do you care how adults willingly spend their discretionary dollars?

So for those who hasn't spent $1 to convert to game pass ultimate, we can buy 3 years worth of gold and use $1 to convert to 3 years worth of ultimate?

How much is it to covert 1:1 if you had it before even if it's 15 to do so 165 for 3 years is a no brainer for me

There's a comprehensive reddit thread on it, but as long as you don't currently have GP you can convert it. So yes, if you don't currently have it but don't have the $1 offer you can do the $15 conversion.

Google says you can still get them from $30-$40 but from companies I've never dealt with. Maybe someone can share their experience.
