* 12mo of UGP for $120 ($10/mo), and typically with 12mo codes, you can stretch it to 13mo if you opt-in for auto-renewal after the 13th month. Note that once the 13th month begins, you can now disable auto-renewal ... and then a few days later extend by another 12mo (with MS offering a 13th month, etc).

So I moved from XBL to GP for $1 some time back. You're saying I can buy 3 of these for $150 and it would convert to 1 year of GP only?
So best to just buy those 3 or 12 month that you mentioned?

How much is it to covert 1:1 if you had it before even if it's 15 to do so 165 for 3 years is a no brainer for me
There's a comprehensive reddit thread on it, but as long as you don't currently have GP you can convert it. So yes, if you don't currently have it but don't have the $1 offer you can do the $15 conversion.
Google says you can still get them from $30-$40 but from companies I've never dealt with. Maybe someone can share their experience.
