Why? Their entire ecosystem is 18v. You want the OP to provide a distinction without a difference.
I wouldn't pay this for ryobi. These are old models. The m12 fuel brushless kit was sub 100. The m18 brushed kit was just sub 100.

We used to make these custom bend wrenches for a specific bolt. Always used craftsman because they'd get weak and break. Endless supply
Makes you wonder what the car designers were thinking. Perhaps it was forced by unforeseen circumstances too late to change, like the engine designers not coordinating with the body and bay designers, etc. In any case, it's the sort of thing, like stuck or even worse snapped fasteners, that can really slow down a task. I'll have to look into getting a set of long-reach and/or specially bent wrenches. And I was just at a HF this weekend and forgot to check.

Interesting. Ill look at those when I have better internet. I do infer that if you're talking about Ryobi garden that it is 40V, but Ryobi tools are 18...though your links update that...maybe...I haven't read them yet.

Brushless, as an electrical engineer, is the way to go in general. Ryobi brushless is decent. Sometimes the deals on SD for brushless tools is excellent. Luckily I have the option of getting significantly reduced prices through Grainger corporate client access. Keeping fingers crossed for at least a semi decent BF for all us SDers

Home depot store 2216 m12 cutoff saw. Get it with the ratchet. Goes down to 74.50 from the normal home depot price of 199. Comes with 4.0, cutoff saw charger and bag.

Or does this deserve a downvote too?

I do prefer the brushed drills. Too often the newer brushless ones try to rip my arm off or just break my wrist

I don't think you could have sold brushless to me any better. Holding out for brushless!

What is Grainger corporate client access. What kind of discounts do you get

If you work for a company that buys a lot of MRO products or is a supplier then they probably have a corporate account with grainger and other industrial supply companies like MSC and Fastenal. The best part is that they usually allow employees to sign up as well and get the discounts and especially the free shipping. My discount through grainger depends on the category, tools are around 35% but there are usually sales and it stacks.

A home depot store had it for 179 with a free tool. Have the tool go to store pickup and combo kit to home. Never pick up the free ratchet and it gets refunded. Boom. 97 plus tax for the combo kit shipped

They jacked the final price up about $30, still a decent deal though for the kit.

35% on top of items that are already in sale?

Yea. It's 137 or something plus tax now. Still a good deal for what you get. It's gone down to that price 3 or 4 times now the last week and a half. Thinking about getting 2 more just for the batteries and selling the tools to break even/make a sixer

Yes, but only up to 35% total, if something is 20% off we get the extra 15% tacked on. I'm sure the discount levels are related to your company spend. I'm part of a pretty large corporation and we are also a large supplier of products to grainger. My account manager also price matches big box stores for me, I just text her my order information and she adjusts the price. Also they do Jack up pricing, the M12 hammer drill kit for example is almost $100 more than HD so the discount isn't as big as you might think, I usually save more by price matching when I can.

Depends company to company. Each company negotiates their own contracts/prices with Grainger. We get one of the sweetest deals given that our company is part of a consolidated negotiation group that includes several other Fortune 200 companies, that allowed an even stronger collective negotiation with Grainger rather than a company specific contract.
