Looks like a bunch of garbage bundled with a great camera to make it look like a "deal."
Great camera for everything except burst/tracking and 4k video. If any of you have an old Canon body, call Canon directly and ask for the loyalty discount. I got my R for 1299 a couple of years ago using my old XSi serial number. At this price, I'd rather just save up more for the R6.
I would if it included the ef lens adapter.

Sure, but you could get the same body with no extras for the same price, so there is some value here.
SD card is a nice free inclusion, the microphone retails for 60 bucks so you could sell that on ebay, the wrist strap is from a reliable brand.
You could probably sell off the rest for a few bucks here and there, so its still a better buy than just the body. Could easily make 150 bucks from sales, plus the price of the SD card.

i know we're all used to those garbage bundles from the likes of adorama bh buydig etc, but FWIW, stuff included here arent rly garbage. very usable SD card, and the peak design wrist strap is actually quite nice, as is the rode mic. so this isnt so bad.

Meh camera + a bunch of junk. Save up your pennies for an R6, or look at other brands. The EOS R is probably the weakest of the MILCs released in the last couple of years.

The Rode VideoMicro is $60 and Rode is considered decent gear. The SD card is $20. The camera strap is $30 and peak design is a well known brand.
Everything else is chinese garbage that would go straight into the trash. I don't think anyone uses Corel stuff anymore anyways, anyone serious enough to need a R would be using lightroom/photoshop.

Googling for info on the program brings me right to the reddit post you made on this. Cool. Surprised they didn't have you send the xsi back in though.
If you think SanDisk SD card is very usable item, you're living in fools paradise. They are total junk and crap on you when you need them the most. Also 64GB cards are like $15-$20
Huh? Sandisk is still considered the most reliable manufacturer of SD cards, period. The only thing is to buy them in store and not on amazon because they are so often counterfeit.
Just my opinion, but this camera should be cheaper considering its age.
I would suggest waiting for a sale on the EOS R6, or a sale on Canon Refurbs. Its almost November, and Sony is releasing the A7iv soon, so its possible Canon will try to undercut the release by lowering prices as well.
its a great camera for hobby shooter, sensor is great. and a decent focus system.
for still image, and some 1080p video, its great. also those R lens are amazing as well.
things are not very good at is tracking the moving subject especially if you want to do continues shoots. i sold my R and got R5 for the better focusing system and more pixels.
