I had two cordless Dyson. Both of them just lasted a little bit more than 2 years just over the warranty period . For over $300 each, it's pretty bad value. I am not going to buy this brand anymore.

Clearly my setup is not in any way a solution for portable vac uses, but you could duplicate it for under $80 and never match the suction power no matter how much more you spend.

Might you have a link to that adapter you purchased?

Edit: I see Amazon is lousy with them, not hard to find. Smilie

This would work well IF you don't have access to an outlet to use a shop vac. If you have access to an outlet, a cheap shop vac will work far better
