Pre-Order Google Pixel 6 Pro AT&T Postpaid Up to $800 trade-in bill credits

AT&T has $700 now $800 trade-in credit for the Google Pixel 6 Pro. If you're already planning on staying with AT&T for the next 36 months AND have an Unlimited plan, this seems to be a good deal. I have a moderate discount through work so I'm not planning on switching providers. Unfortunately Black/White options for 128 GB and only Black for 256GB.

128GB: $3.89/mo for 36 months + tax on MSRP
256GB: $6.67/mo for 36 months + tax on MSRP

11/13 EDIT: Additional $100 credit and many (older) phones added to device list [att.com].

To qualify for $800 credit, minimum Trade-In value must be $35 or higher after device condition questions have been answered

Thanks. After bill credits and trade-in, comes out to just under $440 for the 256GB. Deal isn't for everyone but seems like the best one for my situation.

It's now 36 months, fyi. The reason the att and Verizon pixel 6s are more is with the inclusion of the more rare 5g, I think it's uw but I don't remember off the top of my head. The retail unlocked 6 does not have it and is cheaper as a result.

Looks like $75/mo for a single line since you have to be on an unlimited plan. For reference, my plan with 2 phones on Elite and 2 on Starter is <$170.

Currently on a similar offer for the S21. Guessing that it's too early to try and jump to this deal?

Good luck!

I find these trade-in + 30 or 36 month long obligations to be extremely stingy deals. They have the appearance of getting a device for free, but we have to remember that there is residual value in the devices we give up for trade in - so it's like basically still paying for a device plus signing into long term contracts. Times were marginally better when devices were just $0 with no trade in even if you had to sign a contract. And back then IIRC contracts were 2 years at the longest?

Can you pay the phone off early if you wanted?

I have a PIXEL 5 and plan to keep AT&T regardless, so a Pixel 6 Pro for like $200+ seems decent

Yeah, its rough. Just switched to ATT and picked up 3 36 month "contracts". For two of them it was a great deal. Got Iphone 13 Maxes for $2/month after trading in S20 FE's. The other I traded in a S21 and its really only worth it if I stick with the iphone for the full 36 months. If I decide I want a new phone before then I have to pay off the remainder of the Iphone and lose all remaining credit for trading in my S21.

You won't get the full creditfor the trade in. The trade in gives you bill credits over 36 months. Once you pay off the phone or start using a different phone you lose the bill credits.

You can buy a "used" cheapo samsung s10 for $225 and trade in for $700 credit. Keep your pixel 5 as backup phone or sell it for $400. More of a hassle, but better deal. I would go to AT&T store for trade-in credit.
