As always if your not using doordash and think 10% is good think again. Reasons not to use door dash.
1. It charges an almost 20% premium when compared to ordering direct from reastauarnts.
2. With tip you are going to pay 30% more than pickup yourself.
3. Doordash take a huge chunk in fee from the reastauarnt.
With that said. If the reastauarnt offers delivery order it directly from the reastauarnt. Doordash, uber eats, and grubhub all are leeches.
I got dashpass for free through cc benefit. I bought gift card with cc benefit (in this deal, I only paid $85 for $100). I can still do pick up through DoorDash and with dashpass you get additional 5% back. Take Chipotle as an example, on chipotle's website or store, it is ~$9 per bowl. With DoorDash, sure they will raise the price to $10, but at the end I paid $10*0.85*0.95=$8.075 so it is ~11% save than placing the order directly with Chipotle…..if I am ordering food for a party or with friends, I will earn money or get a free meal from it….
Yes, I have Chase Sapphire Reserve, and the discounts still apply because you have a DashPass membership, not necessarily pertaining to what form of payment you use.
Not quite true, in order to get DashPass benefits, Chase Sapphire Reserve must be set as your payment method. Choosing a different card will disable those benefits.
That said, gift cards get applied even though CSR is set as the payment method. They don't interfere with DashPass.
Just to confirm I got this right: you can create a PayPal key linked to your Chase Freedom card, pay with it, and Chase will register this as a "PayPal purchase" and give you 5% back on it?

Yup, make sure freedom is set to the default payment for your PayPal key credit card number

And if you end up not being being able to make an order, support never telling you why and instead just reactivating your account until finally you're told the deactivation is final and you lost your gift card credits.

This is all very true. I'm still buying this however as a gift for those people in my life who can't help but spend money.

Why are people so offended by information? Price history helps establish the basis for what's a good deal.
And it's last week…. Not like they said two years ago. Smh
