I got this on the last deal, few comments. It's quite a loud toothbrush and the bristles I wouldn't call the softest in the world but it does a great job cleaning 🧼. For the price, I do recommend!

You can switch to the sensitive heads if you want softer. That's what I did.

I have and really enjoyed using this toothbrush over the years, but having to solder on a replacement battery is a deal killer for me to spend again on it. Can anyone recommend a great electric toothbrush whose batteries are easily replaced?

The one for $25 may have been a close out of a manufacturing run. I got it also.
BTW I highly recommend this toothbrush. It does a great job cleaning your teeth.Big Grin

I've had this model since 2012. Got it for $34.99 before tax (still have the email invoice), so I've had it for almost 10 years. Served me very well during that time, and I'm still using it to this day albeit with the following annoyances due to its age. In the past year, the internal battery doesn't charge up fully anymore, but I expect that for a 9+ year old internal battery. There is a green light that blinks while it is charging which turns off when it is fully charged. It used to be off by the morning time after brushing before bed the night before, but now it continues to blink nearly all the next day. Sometimes I can convince it to charge up a bit more by picking it up off the charging platform and setting it back down. This usually allows it to charge far enough for the light to stop blinking.

Every 20-30 seconds (I never actually timed), it will do a little stutter (I believe this is normal functionality because I noticed this in all the different ones I've seen of the same model), which I use to "time" how long I am brushing. I used to be able to get it to the 4th stutter (which is a more pronounced stutter, perhaps to let you know you've been brushing for "this amount of time"), but now more than half the time, it will die between the 3rd and 4th stutters (and sometimes between the 2nd and 3rd), which I am attributing to an aging (aged?) internal battery.

That said, I still recommend this for those looking for an decent affordable electric toothbrush that, at least for me, has lasted up to 9+ years so far.
