Usb-C Charging cables

427 October 23, 2021 at 06:40 PM
I have been trying to find USB charging cables that are great quality and no matter what nothing seems to compare to Anker. That's not to say I haven't had occasional and serious issues with them.

There seems to be no deals on Anker cables lately either.

Are there any deals on Anker cables or any cables that are proving themselves to be as good as Anker?

Thanks.

Not Anker, but if all you care about is slow charging, the USB-C cables from Dollar Tree work just fine.

I use charging and data cables from Monoprice, and have for years. They're kinda pricey at regular price, but they do run sales on them regularly. I think I paid $10 for qty 4- 6 foot cables, USB to Lightning, on a Slickdeal several years ago. They're very high quality, and when one fails I just make a phone call to Monoprice and they send me a new one, no questions asked. All of their cables carry a lifetime warranty, and all you need when you call for a replacement is your order number.

Ahh, thanks for this. I must have not been sent an alert for this and there was no activity for a while so I sort of gave up:

Dollar Tree. I actually love their cables for the buck. Unfortunately I was at my local dollar tree prior to your response with cash in hand and there was not even one USB-C connector. They were all USB-B connectors. It was like I was in a time warp or something.

I had checked monoprice and you are right they are pricey. I guess I will have to wait for a sale or stop off at a different dollar tree when in commute.

My worst fear is paying a premium for Anker cables and then the form factor changes again. Also, Anker was quite a pain in the tail in giving me replacement cables when I had issues not so long ago.

I remember stuff like that.
