VA vs different screen tech always gets raised, but as 34" monitors go for office use / occasional YouTube, I'm happy
Regarding price, I got mine for $423 a few months ago, when it was listed as 17% off the price at the time, so not feeling its a SlickDeal, but you also cannot turn back the clock to get that price!!
Definitely a great monitor, though. I can't wait to pick one up.

It rate VERY high but....
"The Dell has a VA panel with much better black uniformity and better contrast. The IPS panel on the Gigabyte has much better viewing angles and a faster response time, resulting in clearer motion with less blur behind fast-moving objects."

Little bit different of a monitor. This is an ultra wide while that's a typical 1440p monitor that's upsized. This is also the better monitor in almost every way.

I game on mine and no blur or black smearing (call of duty, new world, flight sim). Love this monitor

It just seems like you either have IPS at 75hz or VA at 144+hz on the lower end and IPS 100hz or 120hz at the higher end. I guess I want IPS 120hz at VA prices
