Anyone have experience with this website? Is it legit?
I bought a Zwave Schlage smart lock from them about a year and a half ago with no issues. Also a bronze door kick plate sometime later to complete the look. No complaints.
I would put these along my stairs but damn what a nightmare to wire them into the walls. The clip on ceiling lights just make me damn lazy to put anything else in.
Just hang them up and then put some battery powered rechargeable lights in them
Same. I bought 20 right after the deal was posted, there are 264 listed as in stock and it dropped down to 244 after I made my order.
The customer service rep that I spoke with said that my order was "DBM", and said that build.com must not have been selling from their own inventory, but from the manufacturers overstock? Pure speculation. Second time in two orders that I've had a random cancellation from build.com. In the first order they canceled, a toilet and tank, they shipped both but then canceled and returned the toilet bowl WHILE IN TRANSIT back to their warehouse, so I only received the custom tank and not the bowl. No one there could tell me why. When I tried to get them to reship it they told me that my original order for that product had been canceled and that I have to place a new order at the current full price. They also told me that I had to pay return shipping on the toilet tank, the cost of which exceeded the purchase price...
So yeah, Build.com is 0/2, and they won't ever be getting a third chance.

Last year I did order from them and after a month they canceled my order. Can't say anything good about them.
