Was at HD last night and saw a stack on DWS780s in the front main aisle and marked $399.

Alongside this was the DWE7485 Table Saw for $299, good deal but not as great as the miter.

This was found in 30024.

Ive been browsing them but havent gotten the wife pass yet since I already have a 10" miter saw. I may pick up the table saw since I dont have it.

OP you should have bought this, I'm 99% sure that it is actually the dws779 model that is on sale. Hard to tell what the sku is listed on the sale sign in your picture though, would be good to confirm what that says

I'm pretty sure this is for the DWS779 and not the DWS780.

If you look on the box in your screenshot, it shows a SKU of 1001-624-266. On the link above to the DWS779, it shows that same SKU.

Yes, hence why I said he should have bought it. They have the 780 on display but the sale is supposed to be for the 779..

That's why I asked if he bought it . Brickseek is "supposed" to be pulling straight from Home Depot's pricing . I was curious if it actually rang up at price shown or the price bs is showing . I'm guessing as soon as the first person tries to buy one they will be confused . Show an associate the sign and then it will get corrected at that store

This is definitely a mistake. The sign should be for the DWS779. The bottom box of this picture is the 779, it has the all yellow box with the SKU that is of the 779. The top box is the 780. I could see them not honoring this price since anyone could have set the box on top there.

The sale is for the DWS779. Home Depot is not going to honor the 780 for $399 because someone set a 780 box in the 779 sale area. If that was the case......
