Seems like there is a new wave of deals for Amazon from Chase and Discover. Both mine and my wife's account got 30% off up to $30 when you use Discover rewards.

The start date is today 11/1 but I used the same offer before in Q3.
So it appears that Amazon is blocking activation if the offer was used recently...
