Hisense 65’’ U6G w/ Roku @ Costco $649.99

While Costco has a deal for the 55'' Roku version, it looks like the 65'' also dropped from 689 to 649 for those that are more interested in larger screen. Appears to be a low and with Costco credit card you get extended warranty etc so worth it IMO over Best Buy if you are a member and prefer Roku.

FYI, appears to be limited locations. OOS for me after entering my zip code. Too bad cause I'd be in for one.

I've never bought a Hisense. I see great reviews on Best Buy website, but what about durability? Can anyone speak to the durability of this model, or any other Hisense?

Just picked this up but the 55 model for 449. At this price it may be the best tv out there at this point.

really hard to say about the reliability of the U6GR since it just became available this month.

I have a Hisense H8G since late January and it's been fine as far as reliability. Maybe others can chime in on their experiences with other Hisense TV's.

Me neither but Costco is giving 3yrs manf. warranty (additional 2yrs with Costo citi card). I'll take my chances.

Do you have this tv up and running? If so, I'd love to hear what you think. I'm planning to buy one but there's pretty much no reviews out there for it yet. RTINGS says their U6G doesn't necessarily apply to the U6GR, so flying blind here!

Not yet. Have to wait until Saturday morning to try it out sorry! Saw it in store and looked good. Seems like exactly the same tv as the u6g just with Roku. I'm a TCL fan but for the price I could not pass it up

I got the 65" model from Best Buy. So far I really like it. I really do like the Roku interface, it seems just as good as the Roku Express 4K I was using on my old TV. Plus it frees up another HDMI port so I have 4 to use.

There are a bunch of picture settings and I decided I would wait for rtings to review it before doing any customization. I did put it in "Movie" picture mode just because I like the warmer color of that mode.

Apparently rtings has purchased this TV and will be doing a full review of it soon.

I don't know if $649 will be the lowest price. I expected it to go down to $599 just because that sounds like an enticing price, but I won't sweat it if it does.

It's in stock online with free shipping. Where does this fit when compared to the cheap $300 Target Element TV and the $898 65" Mini LED TCL 65R635 on Amazon/Best Buy?

Nice deal. Is there a good soundbar (preferably at Costco) that can go with this (around $300 or lesser).
