Make sure you actually have room to fit these in you're garage. Don't eyeball it. Measure it out.
Also, measure how far down you want it to hang. Take into account family members' height and vehicle height if you want to be able to walk/park underneath them.
Have someone help you with the install. Don't be a He-Man/Woman.
PS: Coulda swore I had room for two. After measuring to be safe… Nope. Ended up going with a 3' x 8' single and love it.
Don't load these racks with too many heavy items. The ceiling above was not designed to support heavy weight from the underside. Light items are okay.
Where these shine is in bulky lightweight items like holiday decorations. It's not reasonable to expect to muscle tote boxes full of heavy tools 8' into the air and hang them from the ceiling right over your prized vehicle.
