In for one. Just super disappointing that all these mega cheap deals appear to be for blue switch keebs. Where's the logic in that? Unless you're forever alone or have super tolerant family members or office coworkers these switches are completely impractical.

Is this a good deal? And this is a mechanical keyboard right? Not sure what Type C blue switches mean.

Type C connection of the keyboard to the PC, meaning that the cable can be removable and switched with other type c cable. This has nothing to do with the switches regardless of type (blue, red, brown).

So if my old ass PC has only USB-A ports, would a USB-C to A adapter work?

Looks a bit cramped, but for $15 looks good.
Nevermind, just cancelled.
Way too cramped, Function keys are mixed with shortcuts for volume, mute, etc...
Arrows keys in a weird spot.

NPET K20 offers brown switches and hovers around $25, depending on color and options. Be careful what you select, they also have red and non-mechanical.

I've been using the K20 in black for a few weeks now and it's pretty good. I do wish there was settable colors so I can have backlighting without a rainbow, but otherwise it's fine. USB is not removable.

I also had an excellent mechanical keyboard from Newegg a while back, don't recall the model. It was cheap too, but it predated the current mechanical craze so the price was reasonable. Probably requires a mortgage now.

Home office dad here to say I *love* blue switches, I understand it might be too loud for some environments but don't hate on us blue fans. My office is in the basement away from family that might be annoyed by it. The tactile feedback of blues makes typing much more joyous.

I've had keys wear out on me on some of these cheaper models after 6 months though, starting to think I need to learn to replace switches for these or invest in a more expensive option. Anyone have a Blue switch 108-key they've had a long time and loved?

genuine question, while i'm all for TKL keyboards (for gaming), i can't imagine using 60% keyboards where F1-F12 are mixed with number keys and arrow keys require holding another key. do people get used to this? or is this specifically for people who are either primarily writers (and hence only really need the letters) and/or minimalists?
