Amazon had it a little cheaper recently. But this is a great price. Normal price is $99. Plus, 90 day free returns. You can't go wrong.

Fenwick rods are generally very good, but there are many models so with out knowing the details it is hard to say. I'd take the fenwick rod over the pflueger reel. I'm not sure why people think this is a great price. It is below retail but new ones on eBay sell for 60-70 all the time. That is searching completed new in box. There are other brands that hold their value much better, but people have their own favorites.

Yes there's still some plastic inside when you open them up for maintenance. But for the amount of times I fish per month I've been very happy with the Viper 3000 and Alloy M baitcaster. Decent/surprising for the price. After every trip I rinse with a water hose and I grease&oil stuff 1-2 times a year. Read the product information to make sure the item has shielded stainless steel bearings.
Will Piscifun products ever be "better" than Daiwa or Shimano? Nope. I'm sharing this in hopes to help save someone else the time it took me to find some decent products for a great price.

You are correct. These are just light President reels. I do want to note that the President XT limited edition is currently only $50 at Cabela's https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/p...0678272000. And it appears it is the same weight as the supreme. From experience, both are great reels.
