The first couple of films are 4K new scans, the others aren't. I wouldn't expect to be wow'd.

It sure is a good thing that no one out there has any different taste in movies than you. Thankfully they can avoid this sale!

Great deal, thanks!
I can't answer your exact question, but I got the 4k blurays and even compared head to head with the HD blurays it's difficult to see a difference in resolution at all. I've upgraded a lot of my movies to 4k discs, but Harry Potter was not worth it, IMHO. My personal advice is to save your money.

Is Harry Potter in 4K digital a big leap up in video quality over Blu-Ray disc?

If fanflix goes bankrupt, do you still own your copies somehow? That is something I worry about with digital copies, and honestly, I don't know the answer.

Fanflix just sells the codes it doesn't own rights to the movies.

Only way you'd lose access to your movies is if the movie isn't MA and one of the retailers (Apple, Vudu, Amazon, Google, etc) goes out of business. Or if the studio decides to revoke digital rights to the movie (very unlikely).

Thank you OP! I have been waiting for a great deal for these movies! I bought all eight movies using OP's walk-through - it takes 2 separate orders to get all eight movies and then redeem at MA.

Yes you do, because Movies Anywhere uses a technology called KeyChest, which "synchronizes content licenses from digital distribution platforms linked to a central user account."

Anyone know what Sorcerers Stone Magic Movie Mode is

This is what I found when I googled it

"The Harry Potter Magical Movie Mode is a wondrous new way to experience Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, allowing fans the ability to discover filmmaking secrets, spell incantations, creatures, magical artifacts, trivia, and more in this enchanting collection of fun activities and curiosities. Let the magic begin!"

Don't buy yet though as a separate movie, as it is included as a free extra on HP1 on MA and ITunes.

I bought the same set, but returned it when I realized it didn't come with digital copies.
