Huge price drop on Amazon, usually it sells for three times the price.
- No Drivers Required
- The UCA202 works with your PC or Mac computer without the need for any setup or driver installation.
- Powered via USB
- Because the UCA202 is powered by the USB bus, no external power supply is needed. That's one more outlet for all your musical toys.
- High-End Audio Quality
- The UCA202 features high-resolution 48 kHz converters for high-end audio quality, and the additional S/PDIF optical output allows for direct digital conversion.
- Tons of Free Software
- Behringer provides a heap of free software available via download, to let you get the most out of your UAC202 right out of the box.

Pro Tip: If you know what it is, download the manual and read it before you buy.
Product descriptions are firstmost, marketing. The truth is in the manual. Manuals are getting shorter and easier to read, and have more pictures and graphs then ever. They are usually a fast read. At worst you will learn a lot quick buy skimming through a complex purchase, like a synthesizer.
Here's the manual to this thing. Might as well post it for the rest:

bonus tip: train yourself to skip by the pages of 'warning' like you would ads when reading an article on a web page.
In for two.

If the UCA202 would strictly be used as an output DAC from a PC to decent amplified speakers, are there any better options out there in this price range?
How about as a DAC + Headphone Amp to basic low impedance headphones?
And finally, how is it as an input + output device for recording?
Thanks in advance.

Funny it's now a fire sale.
Also the Sweetwater people are awesome. Dude literally called every month or so to update me. Buy direct from them.
