Is this one ideal for the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro? I think that laptop can't access the XMP.

Have been watching this. Normally $140. This just dropped. Nice upgrade for AMD laptop users as it has good secondary timings.

It's a deep dive with timings on laptop memory if you start googling. I think for 3200mhz the looser CL22 is the most common. There hasn't been many brands that have offered tighter timings. I've seen a few CL20 or CL19 but I don't think they had good reviews in a price vs return. For laptop users we are kinda stuck at this point, many manufacturers don't update or allow their bios to have XMP settings for over clock or voltage adjustment.

Same here. I bought it for my L5P as well. All the other previous ram deals were either not dual rank, or had crap secondary timings (gskill, team group). Crucial checks all the boxes and is the cheapest it's ever been. These are micron chips.

How does this compare to the Ripjaws RAM deal? If I recall, that was like $95 for 2x16gb.

I am pretty sure this is the same memory, albeit 32GB instead of 16GB, that Jarrod upgraded his L5P (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zUbryj294Cs) and saw a significant upgrade in performance. I went ahead and ordered it for my L5P as well.

Seems to me that the Gskill is a much better deal with Lifetime warranty. Their ram has always been reliable and from what I've read online, they have an advantage because they're a Taiwanese company and can undercut competitors who rely on TSM for semiconductor manufacturing, thus the lower prices.
