Better than GeForce 3060 Ti, Radeon 6700XT is a solid competitor to 3070, and in game performance sometimes outpace 3070, see below.

I bought in 2019 a desktop with 2080 Ti from this vendor with solid performance. Never had any issue and still goes strong. Chat with sales is available on their website during work hour, I also called them once in 2019 and had the impression they cared about their customers so I recommend this vendor from my limited experience. Their BF deal this year is disappointing to me in general, but I found this one may make sense for someone who looks for value and has a hard $1500 budget. Combined with other cashbacks may bring the price even sweeter.

Stupid comparison and a whataboutism.
Fancy debate terms, you still are attacking the argument instead of answering the questions lol
whattomine lists this gpu at about $2.96/day profit if your elec cost is 10 cents kw/h. If we suppose there are 6 months left to mine ETH, thats roughly $530 profit. This may go up or down with the price of ETH and/or when ETH mining is halted in 2022.
Deal isn't great IMO but using off-the-shelf parts is a big plus.
Which between these 2 cards would you prefer?
Rest of the parts worth $700?
You are purchasing a capitol good. Closest argument would be like saying "You shouldn't use your car(capitol good) to work Uber or Lyft in your spare time because it's bad for the environment.
Environmentalism is a complex topic and you should worry about your own carbon footprint and systemic change rather than policing others.
I dislike what impact mining is having on GPU pricing and availability for gamers and hopefully this corrects soon. But I and a number of other gamers have been lucky enough to purchase a rig outside of their initial budget and have it subsidized or even get it for "free" due to mining.
Chill my friend. Some people do care.

And here's my take on this deal. It's weak. The Alienware r12 w the 3060ti for $1372 is better than this deal. I went with that one.
Take a chill pill. Ethereum mining isn't even close to the main cause of the GPU shortage. It's a combination of scalpers, the worst silicon chip shortage in history, and more people working from home than ever. Even Nvidia and AMD have stated this. PS5's can't be mined on, yet they're not any easier to get for retail prices. Everyone is just looking for a scapegoat, when almost all of the blame should be directed toward scalpers and the people paying these outrageous prices scalpers are asking. If people would stop buying from scalpers, they'd be forced to unload all the GPU's their hoarding at retail price. And, no, I'm not one of those "professional" miners. I'm a gamer that mines on my one 3080 in my PC while I'm not gaming. Anyone with a decent GPU that's not mining on it isn't a true "slickdealer" 😄. It's basically free idle income. I've been mining on it since late June, and have made enough to pay for my entire high-end PC build, and then some (even after electricity cost). If a FREE high-end PC isn't a slickdeal, I don't know what is 😁.
I care. I game and I mine when I'm not gaming.
