This appears to be an all time low for the Tower Light right now at acme at $399.
Still very steep for a light and certainly not for most people, but all time low prices deserve posting. Personally I prefer the 6000 lumen rocket light from this
recent post, especially at the $259 price that we got. This Dual pack tower light is normally $699, and currently $699 at Home Depot and elsewhere.
Comparing this light to the 6000 lumen rocket light:
- Benefits: Packs more compactly (22"), can run dual batteries for longer runtime (up to 26 hours vs 9 hours), and has OneKey for app control of the light.
- Downsides: Single light head (vs triple), doesn't telescope as high of a height (5'5" vs 7'), isn't quite as bright (5400 lumen vs 6k lumen), and is more expensive.

I've wanted this light for a long time, but the price has been so exorbitant that it's almost impossible to justify.
It's several years older than the 6,000 lumen that just popped up the other day and as a contractor that has waited this long, I've bought 5+ of the 3,000 lumen rockets for less money because of deals that have happened every year while this one sat on a Milwaukee pedestal that is to ashamed to put it on sale for fear of tarnishing it's exclusivity.
I would still love to have the light, but anyone that got 6,000 lumen tower light got a better deal and an average DIY'er will be better served with buying 2 - 3,000 lumen rockets on sale and spacing them out for better light coverage. Run time for any of these lights is plenty for an average work day and running a cord to them eliminates that problem.
Edit- when I said 3,000 lumens, I was mistaken and meant the 2,500 lumen lights.

Just for clarification, when you mention the 3000 lumen rocket I assume you mean the 2500 lumen M18 rocket (Model 2131-20)? That's the more commonly promo'd and posted rocket (list price $229 but can be had for around $115-125 through promotions/"hacks"). Plenty bright for most applications. The 3000 lumen rocket (model 2135-20) is the gen 1 triple head which still runs $399 and preceded the Gen 2 6k lumen light recently posted to SD.

You are correct, thanks for the catch.

400 seems steep to me, but as many have said it has so many applications I can't stress enough how useful it can be.
