I grew up in the last century and ate the authentic RD Danish cookies made in Denmark.
They were delicious, full of butter which would melt in your mouth, the same tradition until the early 80s.
Then they globalized like the rest of humanity and sent their production to Malaysia. The butter is not the same, maybe 50% butter and canola, who knows.
They taste dry, crumble like any dollar store cookie, and the whole experience is nothing but a big
disappointment..
I hope they reconsider and bring bag the original pure Danish butter taste.
Is is better than Scottish shortbread imho.
