Viewing angle is really bad, anything much off center and colors fade considerably.
OK for bedroom when watching from front center but would not recommend for living room or any type of viewing at an angle.

Buy this and in a few years spend another 200 and you will get a better tv then spending 400 now.

The only problem with full array is that you get way deeper blacks but at the expense of higher DSE. With Costco, 90 days return if you are not happy plus 4 year warranty,
The problem withthe TCL is a bit too much of a glossy screen and I would only buy the six series.
55 is right size and worth the extra 100 with deeper blacks.

Image quality seemingly hasn't decreased since then but quality control and/or general internal parts quality sure has on TCL TVs. Take it from me, I've said it before on here but I work for Best Buy (goes without saying but all opinions are my own, not representing them) and I hear reports multiple times a month there from people about their 4 series TCLs going dark at like a year and two months or some nonsense. I think either they might have just been built a bit better a few years back or (more likely) I got lucky with my set because it is almost five years old now.
Take this for what it's worth, but I honestly wouldn't myself buy a TCL set today without some sort of extended warranty as such. Also have HEAVY personal preference towards a Roku TV for a budget platform vs Android or Fire, but again that's just my own opinion.
