I love this product though, definitely recommend buying 2 sets.
Edit: didn't think there was enough interest in the replacement clips but already received multiple PMs. Here is the link for the replacement clips for 3D printing:

These will fit nicely in my shed, and maybe someday I might even use them!

Wife & neighbor had a yard sale. These sawhorses & a 4x8' sheet of plywood made a great table.
Home Depot price matched this item last time

Drove down to my next one (after calling) and picked up a few. They make great Xmas gifts!

My wife is moving me into a storage shed if this keeps up. Anyone else return stuff and feel as good as you did when you got the deal? Addiction to a deal. Ugh! But... Thank you for real OP. This set is nice and less than 1/2 price.
Better than 2 in the back
These are - even if you can't think of why you need them, for $20 and very little space, you'll probably glad you have them one day when you do need them or think of a way to use them.
These aren't - I use sawhorses all the time and they will meet all my needs.
not 2 stands on each side where you can place a table on top?
EDIT******
Never mind I did the sane thing and opened the box up and yes , it is 2 stands https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...s/emot-LOL.gif
the picture from Ace website throws it off.
So non-Stanley sawhorses come out, I say they were Stanley, he goes back again. Comes back out 5m later with a non boxed. just loose pair of sawhorses, not even one of those plastic ties around them. My first comment: No box or label or instructions? They look used like that.
He says "well, you don't really need instructions for these (not really my point, but whatever). Some guy bought a 4 pack and we just pulled these out of that since he only wanted 2." So I say, "yeah, my point was not that I need instructions, but maybe a label would give me a warranty claim if something goes wrong". Guy pauses and thinks, and slowly says "welllll, I guess if something goes wrong just bring these back and we'll work something out". :\
I've had my issues at HD and Lowe's as well, don't get me wrong, but IMO if the Ace's of the world are going to continue to survive in a big box, highly automated consumer market, they need to do better than that.
I know, I know, sample of one, but still. It will certainly make me think twice about buying from them again, though I do like to support local(ish in this case - I guess these are franchises?).
I took them without saying much (as I definitely would have at a HD or Lowe's), 1. because $20. 2. because they're sawhorses...no electronics or other issues that even if they were used (instead of just returned), it's not going to matter (as long as they open and close ok).
3. Just did not feel like getting into it. In hindsight I probably should have at least said something to the effect of "well, I will accept these due to the cost and nature of the product, but can't say I'm happy about accepting what looks like returned goods with no box or anything."
Every time I am in one of these situations (it seems like it happens a lot!) I always think "what would *I* have done if I were that guy?"
In this case, it would be a no brainer, ESPECIALLY if I was the franchise owner or manager:
"hey Mr. Customer, looks like we just have this pair that a customer that bought too many by accident brought back. They are in working order, but no box or label. We can either give these to you and take $5 off, and if you have problems just bring them back for a refund, OR we will order a new set for you. Sorry for the inconvenience in any case"
But that's just me.
Even if you completely remove any kind of "it's the right thing to do" from the equation, from a PURELY FINANCIAL/BUSINESS perspective, it's the smart position to take.
Thanks.

Do you clamp a board to them to work on or what?
