Thanks OP. Just bought. Weird thing for was when I tried to sign into my account it would go back to regular price. I had to check out as a guest. Worked out though.

If you're already in their battery system, this probably isn't bad. Looks way too much like a cheap knock off clone of the original EGO Power Plus trimmer with split shaft.

If you get the protection plan you would get 50% back in batteries and string. Makes buying the batteries a bit less painful.
