It's one of the more stagnant streaming services despite one of the higher prices. The early access to some theater-release movies are the only reason to consider it alongside Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus. Just my opinion. I've had all those for about a year with the pandemic and find myself using HBO Max the least, except when there's a new-release movie I want to watch.
