Might as well have one of these since OT seems more interesting than the usual bickering over live vs. psn.

Now, who wants to talk about how LEET they are? -_-V

thumbing up my thread because I can.

Rofl2 love that movie!

Saul: Vait a minute. Vat about Rocky Marciano?
Clarence: Oh, there they go. There they go, every time I start talkin' 'bout boxing, a white man got to pull Rocky Marciano out they ass. That's their one, that's their one. Rocky Marciano! Rocky Marciano! Let me tell you something, once and for all-Rocky Marciano was good; but compared to Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano ain't shit.
Saul: He beat Joe Louis' ass.
Morris: That's right, he did whoop Joe Louis' ass.
Clarence: Joe Louis was 75 years old when they fought.
Morris: I don't know how old he was, but he got his ass whooped.
Clarence: Joe Louis had come out of retirement to fight Rocky Marciano the minute he was 76 years old. Joe Louis was always lying about his age. He lied about his age all the time. One time Frank Sinatra came in here and sat in this chair. I said Frank 'you hang out with Joe Louis, just between me and you, how old is Joe Louis?' You know what Frank told me, he said "Hey, Joe Louis is 137 years old." A hundred and thirty-seven years old!
Sweets: Oh. Man, you lying, you ain't never meet no Frank Sinatra.
Roll

Saul: Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait, stop right there. Listen. Stop right there a minute. A man goes into a restaurant. You listenin'? A man goes into a restaurant. He sits down, he's havin' a bowl of soup. He says to the waiter; "Waiter, come taste the soup." Waiter says; "Is there something wrong with the soup?" He says; "Taste the soup." He says; "Is there something wrong with the soup? Is the soup too hot?" He says; "Will you taste the soup?", "What's wrong is the soup to cold?", "Will you just taste the soup?", "All right, I'll taste the soup. Where's the spoon?", "Ah-ha!"
[chuckles]
Saul: "Ah-ha!"
...
Saul: "Ah-ha!"
...
Saul: What do you know from funny, ya bastard?

Kyle: Dude! I almost thought those Afghani kids talked you into not liking America.
Stan: No, dude. America may have some problems, but it's our home. Our team. And if you don't wanna root for your team, then you should get the hell out of the stadium.
Kyle: Yeah.
Stan: <salutes the American flag> Go America.
Kyle: <salutes> Go America...
Stan: Go Broncos
Kyle: Yeah go Broncos.
Cartman: Yeah...

He broke off from the catholic church and then started up his own thing in like the 1400's? Something about the magna carta is popping up in my head but no idea why.
You're thinking of the 95 theses. The Magna carts was something else but I don't know what it was. Wasn't there a question in Billy Madison about the Magna carta? I think that was right before the line "oh Veronica Vaughn, so hot, want to touch the hiney."

The Magna Carta is kind of a predecessor to the Constitution.

Kratos know's his Martin Luther, haha.

Basically, my understanding...it was a list of 95 things the Church was doing wrong. It was the start of the Reformation, the start of the Protestant church.

EDIT..HAHA! In reading about WHERE the 95 Theses were placed...I found this.

Quote :
By 1509 Frederick had over 5,000 relics, purportedly "including vials of the milk of the Virgin Mary, straw from the manger [of Jesus], and the body of one of the innocents massacred by King Herod."[1]
1500 year old milk...HA! That would be so nasty.

I thought it was England's version of the Constitution. So, your comment would be right in that the guys that wrote OUR Constitution would have the most knowledge of England's version... So when Clippy realized they were trying to start a country, he suggested it as a template.

Of the PS3 & Xbox 360 owners, how many of you have had to replace your console? And how about the Wii? About eveyone I know has had multiple replacements of their PS3 & 360 but the Wii is still going strong. Makes me think the Wii U price tag isn't too high if it's built to last like the old Wii is.

Not trolling, just an observation.
I've never had to replace a 360. I've went from a Pro, to an Elite to an S 250GB. But all came from wanting more space/the newest edition. My launch Pro did RROD, but was fixed for free and worked fine afterwards.

Surface Pro arrives next month with a price tag of $900. That's at least $200 more than a comparable iPad if i'm not mistaken. Seems like an uphill battle, but maybe prices will come down far enough for them to be a bit more competitive.

Achievements are not for the meek, it is better to forfeit inheritance of the earth so that the mighty may look upon my gamerscore, and despair. Achievements are for men who dream; men who dare; men who achieve! Men who carve out entire galaxies with nothing more than nimble cheetos-dusted fingers and their wits, and in our leisurely twilight days we shall sit by softly flickering fires with our descendants recounting the tales of these unimaginable glories.

Comparable iPad? What's that mean? Like a touchscreen Macbook Air?

$900 is too rich for me, thus why I got similar tech but in a 15.6" laptop form factor for $500...but if you were looking at all the new convertible ultrabooks and wanted even more portability...I'd be all about it. They are all running about $1000-$1250 right now.

From a marketing perspective, a 64gb tablet vs 64gb tablet.
The surface pro is definitely much more powerful but at what cost and will enough people care?

The ability to run x86 apps is no doubt a huge plus but it's not as much of a necessity for most people as it once was. Android and iOS apps have replaced much of what the average user had turned on their PCs for.

If the Surface Pro was introduced 4 or 5 years ago, it'd have much more leverage in the market, but as it stands now, it seems to be headed for niche carving rather than widespread adoption. Great for some users or businesses but overkill and overpriced for the vast majority of consumers looking to buy a tablet.

it has me tempted just because it is the only thing i would even consider to be a laptop replacement.. needing excel and a full office suite means tablets just wont cut it for me while traveling for business and so my tablet would stay at home while my laptop went instead.. if my company tries to get us ipads like the boss has hinted, i would ask for the surface pro instead

How do you record gameplay videos? PC for me but just in general and I don't mean an external webcam video. I mean video that seems to be recorded from within the unit.

Well, are you asking if they will sell...or if they will become a top selling tablet? I think there will be multiple levels of "successful" that the Surface and Surface Pro will be measured against.

It will NOT sell 50 million like the iPad or Kindle....I 100% agree with you there. But I do think it will be one of the highest selling Ultrabooks on the market (from what I can tell...currently HP and Lenovo combine for about 5 Million, Macbook Air comes in about 8 Million. 2012 numbers). Who are the people buying the $1250 Ultrabook Convertibles? It will be extremely successful in that market share. If I were to put an Analytic hat on...I'd put the Pro to sell about 2 Million in 2013..

Also, I agree in that it makes 100x more sense for a businessman to own one. Our company just bought iPads for the sales team. So now they have to take a laptop and iPad around with them. One replacement device would have been fantastic.

Just doesn't make much sense to say it is $200 over priced, but to also say it is way more powerful. If it is more powerful, that is what you are paying for... Apples to Apples...the Surface is $500 for 32GB and the iPad is $600 for 32GB (WiFi Retina).

Apple does not have a touchscreen computer...do they?

To answer the "in general"...Consoles, you have to run the video through a special DVR type system that you can buy (a stand alone unit [amazon.com]) OR run it through a capture card on your computer.
