Might as well have one of these since OT seems more interesting than the usual bickering over live vs. psn.

Now, who wants to talk about how LEET they are? -_-V

thumbing up my thread because I can.

I did notice you both mentioned that, and my fee sheet didn't include it. I don't know where it is...or why it isn't mentioned....but I didn't have it.

Who knows...maybe that is an Ohio thing. I actually thought it was optional?

EDIT: the $400 credit was actually listed as "Lender Credit"...the Title Insurance is something that is supposed to be covering THEM...so maybe that is their way of waving that?
Yeah it could be different by state, but usually it's a requirement to be paid by the borrower. Maybe they waived it as part of their promotion like you said.

Now that they are already at 3.375, if NK launches an attack against the south soon, I have a feeling these rates could hit 3.0 by the end of the year.

LMAO thanks! High Five

In all honesty though, I hate having to refi. I really do. Can be the most frustrating and exhausting process sometimes. Some go smooth and others are awful. But I just feel like I have to go through the hassle because the rewards can too good to pass up.

No title insurance? or was it included as part of the search? Seems super cheap for only $100 for both.
it could be since it is a refi, title insurance isn't needed, since you have the insurance from the first purchase.

i don't have any of these documents in my email except for the title commitment, which doesn't include prices.

Hmm i'm pretty sure i had to pay for title insurance again every time i refi'd since the old policy terminates when i pay off the existing mortgage, but that could be another thing that varies from lender to lender or state to state.

I just bought a double edge razor, a bunch of blades, brush, bowl and soap on Amazon. Thank for the idea. Hoping it works out well.
just take your time with it the first few times. It takes practice to know what angle to hold the blade at against your face for the proper shave. The first couple of times will take longer because you have to do multiple passes, you dont know how much soap to use, etc. After two weeks of shaving you will be a pro.

Good luck, you are going to love it and start recommending it to all your friends. It is so much cheaper and a higher quality shave.

edit: plus you feel dapper as shit.

i'm looking at my title insurance, it doesn't really say it expires if i refinance. the "continuation of insurance" section makes it sound like as along as i own a portion i am insured. i'm also protected from liability if i go to sell.

hard to tell though, the stuff is written for a lawyer to read.

Is a console where the user plays DVD's often more likely to fail (laser/lens/read error/etc) ? I remember my PS2 seemed to work much harder when playing movies than games. I assume this is cuz the DVD is always running/being read rather than the console loading parts of the game as needed? If that's the case wouldn't buying a cheap BD/DVD player a smarter decision to wearing out the console (ps3) prematurely?

Use short strokes, especially on your neck. I use a Dovo Shavette (folding razor) and if I take long strokes on my neck I get hella razor burn. The one thing I can never get over since using a straight razor is the fact that you can take down full beard to smooth skin in one stroke. There was definitely no looking back for me once I switched.

Who wants to deal with all the extra pieces of stuff in your entertainment center though? A 1980s TV will last longer than a 2010 TV...but I Ain't Got Time For That.

I understand the aesthetic reasons but doesn't the end justify the means? Not much difference between a ps3 and a ps3 with a bd player under it. What good is a console if it's dead? (assuming that playing DVD's does in fact wear a console disc drive/laser/alignment out prematurely)

Exactly, it is an assumption. If there were hard facts to it, sure! But, You are going to buy a BDPlayer (a SD for $50) and have the extra device sitting plugged in with an idle drain (say $2 a year for 5 years)...so it is like you are buying an extra $60 insurance plan on the thought that it might happen.

It is the same thought as to why don't you just buy a 2nd beater car for the daily long mile commute, I guess...Dontknow

I don't get why BD players can't be squares and they are all those long/thin rectangles that are too wide to put them on top.or aren't deep enough to put something else on top!
