Back when the Vive came out this was one of the first games I bought. I still remember not knowing the Vive had a built in mic and said "wow, I suck" and the person on the other end was like "no worries" lol.
That said, very fun game and honestly does feel like you're playing table tennis. I recommend it.
Turn on 120hz mode in the Quest developer options menu then turn on 120 in game graphics settings. You have to turn down the graphics a bit but the extra frames are fantastic in this game.

There is a great community in Discord and FB and the main developer is heavily engaged in both. They also have monthly tournaments for all skill levels with actual prize money at stake. The game itself is awesome if you have any interest in table tennis but it's the community and dev that sets this game apart. Highly recommend.
I purchased with full price with the referral credit yesterday. Anyway to adjust?
You can request a refund if you played for less than 2 hours and owned it for less than 14 days. Refund is not immediate but you may be able to repurchase at the cheaper price until the refund comes in.

Do you have to toggle them back off after playing before loading other games?

Ha! That just happened to me while playing mini golf. I thought my opponent was AI…
How is the single player experience for this game?
I'm always chicken when it comes to playing online with strangers...especially with things like this that I have no experience with and will take me time to get the hang of.

I just bought this and played for about 10min and can say single player is pretty good. There is a wide range of difficulty settings to make sure you're still having fun but challenged.

I've only played single player and have probably put 20+ hours into the game. The AI has different difficulty settings and is pretty fun to play with. There's also a few practice mini-games that are surprisingly good - for example there's a ball machine but unlike real life you never have to chase after and fetch balls from underneath furniture.
