edit: Received mine today. Top o.d.lip measures 15" x 20". It's semi-translucent not "painted". Peg hole rim for hanging. Clearly authentic stamped "NSF" "Made in U.S.A." with rubber persons commercial logo. I am highly satisfied for the price. I will be buying more for pull-out under counter pan storage and for the fridge.

Home Depot price is $16.79 and they don't have white. White was o.o.s. for at Amazon for a long while. These tough containers have many uses including food storage. The 3.5 gallon ( ASIN ‏ : ‎ B000VAUFT0 ) fits smaller sinks if using as a dishpan. I look to commercial grade plastic including HDPE and polycarbonate to escape the consumer grade junk that breaks within days or weeks.

HDPE 2 per the embossed recycling triangle. Go with my description as received or that of the others. The choice is yours. The reliability of the Others is well covered in "LOST" the series. Re-reuns are available on Hulu.

from previous posts, I know that you know generally what you're talking about.(If that's a joke it's lost on me as I never watched that series). I always appreciate Postings of useful items, just trying to think if I really need some at this time. thanks for making me aware of it though.... what really need now is a huge size one of these big enough to Bathe a 5 foot tall kid in the shower stall. If anyone happens to have a suggestion, would really appreciate it

These are good and tough - I have bought them a few times for garage storage, but you are right - this is the normal price. I bought a few 2 years ago and a few more last year - always $10 each.
