Thanks, OP! The 1/2 gallon size in Clear and snack size in Raspberry are also on sale, in case anyone needs a different size.
I have some of these type of bags (not this brand/make). Just be aware that they are not as flexible as a normal sandwich bag, they can stain depending on what you put in there, and I find the volume claims suspect (but that could just be the brand I bought).

I think they're a good investment for reducing the number of bags you do use, but it's my experience that a 1 gallon silicone bag and a 1 gallon freezer bag can accomplish different things.
So it's a ziplock made out of silicone?

I do reuse my ziplock.

I've found 1/2 gallon Stashers in pink and blue at some Marshals in the San Diego area for $14.99. In the kitchenware isle.

How long do these actually last, every brand we have tried the seal stops closing after several weeks of daily use

These are amazing, my kid uses them for snacks at preschool daily. You can write on them with dry erase marker and it washes right off with a little soap. Highly recommend them. We must have used them dozens and dozens of times and they still seal perfectly.

I've tried these. They hold up pretty well but are less flexible so it's hard to get the air out of them. For longer cooks they seem to be fine, but tend to stain easily. I'm going to keep using it, but will also keep freezer ziplocks handy for trickier items.

This is slick too:

Stasher Platinum Silicone Food Grade Reusable Storage Bag, Clear (Bundle 4-Pack Small)
Sale Price: $36.00 = 36% off
List Price: $54.99
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087XBR564

And same bundle in Aqua, priced $35.99:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087XBR564

The description is dodgy about the bag sizes, but based on the picture, it is probably this. Free returns = lower risk of being wrong:
(1) Half-gallon 10.25"x 8.25"x 1.5" (64oz)
(2) Sandwich 7.5"x 7.5" x 1" (28oz)
(1) Snack 4.5"x 7.5"x 1" (12oz)

It's not really on sale though, it was even cheaper for the last month and was only a few percent more expensive previously according to camelcamelcamel.

I'd like to know more on this to what do you typically cook with these if you don't mind sharing. I'd use my sous vide more if I didn't have to use food sealer bags. I actually haven't tried w/ ziplock as from my understanding, if they are not rated for the cooking usage, they can leak into the food consumed

These can be kind of a pain to clean. We put ours in the dishwasher, but I also have to make sure the bag is being held open by the prongs in the dishwasher or else it won't clean or dry out completely.

That's exactly what I was afraid of. Will pass on them. Thank you!
