When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Wave Hi Everyone!! I just got back. . . the little man and I went to Kansas this weekend so he could meet his great-grandmothers. Me + baby + 4 airplane rides in three days = exhausted mommy. : sadwalk: We almost got stuck in DFW on Friday b/c of the bad weather but eventually made it, just four hours late.

Anyway, it was a good trip even though boyo wasn't on his best behavior the entire time. My parents are convinced he has colic and made me give him formula. shake head Glad to be home.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!! I still tear up when I listen to the MTV Unplugged Nirvana disc.
I was shocked to realize that the students in my Postmodernism class had never seen Bladerunner before. EEK!

The unplugged disc is loaded in my IPOD in the car. If "Something in the Way" comes on and the kids get loud, mama's going to get mad. Don't interrupt the mama while she's in the 90's Annoyed

The big blue monster never ceases to amaze me - was he really 38" tall at 19 months??? He might give his daddy a run for the money in the height department! Smilie
Holy monkey! My 4 year old (she's a peanut though..) is just hitting the 40" signs at Disney finally. Breathed a sigh of relief that she could go on Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain Wink

We are going next week! woot We liked all the parks.. my toddler liked the Magic Kingdom the best, because of all the rides and shows. If your kiddo likes the Playhouse Disney stuff like Handy Manny, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, etc, make sure you catch the Playhouse Disney live show in the Hollywood Studios park. My daughter loved it! (ETA: Happy, happy birthday!)

Speaking of my daughter.. today she fell off the bed face first on to my hardwood floor. She knocked at least one of her front teeth loose - possibly both of them. Frown We are headed to the dentist in the morning. Thank goodness they weren't knocked OUT.. I would have freaked out even more than I already did...

congrats on next week's trip! hug about the fall Frown Knocking out teeth is a phobia of mine. (I wonder if it has a name? *the fear of traumatic tooth injury...*)
Good luck at the dentist this morning!!

WALOS,

Last year oldest DS hit now-middle DS right in the mouth with an aluminum baseball bat (the poor little guy walked right into it....totally accidental), loosening both of his front teeth. We went to the ER, then to the dentist the next day, and the bottom line was, they tightened back up on their own. The dentist said as long as the teeth didn't change color or anything, they would likely be fine. So all hope is not lost!

BTW, I second your recommendations regarding WDW. We go every year (heading down again in June), and after the Magic Kingdom (which really is probably every kid's favorite), Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM-Studios) seems to be the boys' pick. Oldest likes Rock n' Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror, youngest likes Playhouse Disney, and they both love Toy Story Mania (get there EARLY and get FastPasses!). Animal Kingdom is next, although there is relatively little for the younger guy to do---maybe this year, as he's growing like a weed. Epcot pulls up the rear, even though oldest DS likes Test Track and Mission Space (vomit ), and youngest digs "Fig-a-ment" and the dinos in Ellen's Energy Adventure...they just can't get behind that World Showcase touring that we adults like to do.

Speaking of which...grey goose slushies...mmmmmm.

Have a great trip!!!

Disney rides:

My DH & I will only go on the rides that our 4-yr-old DS (under 40") is allowed on. Wink

We're getting too old for the other Disney rides. Big Grin

Also, we won't survive the Merry-go-around. laugh out loud

Buy one 100% Naturals or Shimmering ChapStick for $1.99, get $2 RR back.

Certain kinds of the new Edge also count for the Skintimate deal...but don't get the one on clearance for $0.82 -- it won't generate a RR (learned that one the hard way Annoyed)

Both Chapstick and Skintimate/Edge end this week, 4/25, IIRC.

Thank you both - I'd done a few runs of the chapstick last week and I was thinking it was just a weekly deal, but then I realized that it was probably monthly.

I can roll the chapstick RRs into the skintimate/edge and vice versa, correct?
