This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Grrrrr... I had 4 items on 3 different receipts ring up at MORE than the shelf price at Kmart this week. Total amount overspent was $3.50. Should I take them in for an adjustment or just let it go and take one for the team? I've only been doing some small doubles runs this week, but I've done very well. Smilie It just irritates me when the prices are higher than listed.

Your State Department of Weights and Measures has this to say on incorrect shelf pricing. (totally assuming the Sunshine State is FL Teehee)

What should I do if an item purchased at a store scans at a different price than the posted or advertised price?

If a stores scanner reflects a different price than the posted or advertised price, you should first bring the discrepancy to the attention of the sales clerk or store management. Many businesses have policies in place to immediately correct any discrepancies and reward customers that bring pricing errors to their attention. If you cannot get satisfaction from the business management, please contact this office for assistance.

Thanks for the link. I guess I'll take the receipts in next week after doubles dies down. I just hate bringing attention to myself.

You need to bring this to their attention.

I noticed a $1 Renuzit cone at my K months ago that had a shelf tag of 10. All of the other scents were $1. I went to the next aisle and told the employee with the hand scanner. He pulled off the tag to the best of his ability and proceeded to print a new tag. He was thankful. The fines are hefty in CA for incorrect shelf pricing.

I know I do. Just like the siggy says... with great power comes great responsibility. It's tough work being the pricing police for a clusterf*&% like Kmart.

I was wondering if anyone prints their own address labels? If so, would you like to make me some? I have coupons, stamps or cc. Let me know. Thanks for any help.

I can't decide if I was bug or windshield today. It certainly doesn't feel like windshield, so it must be bug. My Crystal Lights did NOT cooperate at T. Neither did my Glade BOGOs. Price input then item not found. The only good thing was that I had a cat-scanning-jedi for a cashier. I had planned for overage, so now I have a bunch of over-priced $hit to deal with. *sigh*

Anybody been noticing the updates to the Target systems? It seems like they are starting to lock down the system. I had a few ETQ's lying around and they came up invalid. Anyone else experience that?
