Unfortunately no they cannot work with the RBK50. Completely different firmware's. I know because I tried. Still a great Deal though!
This one doesnt support wifi-6. SXK30 model that supports wifi 6 also seems to be on sale for 180$ though. (but the sxk30 is dual band as opposed to the tri band one in this deal)

Try and explain the benefit of wifi6 over wifi5 for the average person to me then? Because, unless you have a lot of Wifi6 devices, you will see no benefit.

Wifi6 does not help significantly with RF congestion (wifi6E will, but that's a whole other update and requires Wifi6E compatible clients too). A Wave 2 Wifi5 device (which was an update well after 2012) can perform quite well and for most people, will provide all the speed they need.

If you won't have a lot of Wifi6/Wifi6E devices for 2-3 years, you may as well wait and just get Wifi7 in about 3-4 years, which will actually be a large leap in speed and significantly improve the quality of connections even for older Wifi5 devices on it's network.

I'm all for buying upgraded stuff and I won't tell people to avoid Wifi6, but unless you have multiple devices that support it or will be adding new devices that do (most IoT devices or streaming units won't), for most people they won't get any significant speed increase out of Wifi6, unless they have the available RF spectrum (don't live in suburbs or urban areas) and have client devices that support those connections.

This is a great deal. Does anyone know if I can link this with my existing RBR50 setup?

How does this compare against the Deco M9 Plus(3pk) assume both at same price?

Haven't opened the AX4200 (RBK753S) I got for $350. Have been rocking the RBK50 for several years with little to no coverage issues for a 2k SF house. Would these be better? Wifi 6 seems to be the benefit.

I currently have the Linksys Velop 2200 Mesh network, which I am pretty unimpressed with. I have no need for WiFi 6. Would this be a worthwhile replacement to the Velop?

If I remember right, this model didn't support separate interfaces or VLANs per SSID. You have to drop ~$500 on the latest WiFI6 Orbi Pro. Can anyone confirm or refute that?

Man, I've been looking for a good tri-band router + satellite for my house, but these things look massive and they aren't necessarily easy to blend into the décor. Anyone have a recommendation for a similar setup with more attractive (or smaller) units?

You can get used Orbi routers and satellites pretty cheaply on shopgoodwill.com. Just make sure to know the shipping cost when make your bids.

Honest to god review, spend a bit more and go w/ the eeros pro. I had nothing but issues w/ orbi. I have a 1400 sqft house and 2 satellites couldn't do it. I bought a 3rd and the connection was still spotty. I got the eeros and I can even go all the way to my sidewalk and edge of my backyard with perfect connection.
