Delta Amex Gold 75000 miles signup bonus, no annual fee first year

+15 Deal Score

Amex Delta Gold has a 75,000 skymiles signup bonus for new accounts. Annual fee is waived first year, free first checked bag, 2x dining, delta, and grocery. The spending requirement is easy, $2000 in first 3 months.

I believe there's also a $100 delta statement credit with spending requirement. I did a quick search and didn't see this posted yet, sorry if this is a re-post.

There can be multiple available cards, pick the right Delta Gold Amex card. If you don't see the 75,000 offer, try InCognito mode in Chrome.

Update: Decided to update the post after barrage of thumbs down. This offer is YMMV but most people will be able to recreate it.

Option 1: Open this post in Google Chrome and in Incognito mode, and then click the Amex Link or Green button from the post. Try both links if you don't get success with one or the other.

Option 2: Open this post from a mobile device and first try clicking on it in your regular browser and if that doesn't work try in Private or Incognito mode. Again, try both links.

Option 3: If #1 and #2 doesn't work, open this post in IE/Edge and try both links in Inprivate mode.

If none of the 3 techniques work for you, give it a day or day and retry. If you can recreate the deal, please share your experience in the thread, that can leave helpful hint.

Sometimes it takes up to five tries! I'd suggest trying to open this post in Incognito mode, then try the link or green deal button few times. If that doesn't work, try the same method on Internet Explorer or Edge but in Inprivate mode. Please let me know if any of that works so others can try those too.

I manage to duplicate it by just clicking the link on Chrome and without going in incognito mode. But I got this, so YMMV?

Thanks OP. First check:

regular Chrome mode, it shows 60k miles bonus (not 75k, nor 40k. So random!).
Incognito mode: 40k

LOL. I'll try again later.

If you've had that exact Delta SkyMiles card in the past, you'll likely need to wait seven years (or longer) since you closed it to be eligible again. But if you haven't yet had it, you should be eligible – assuming you meet all of the other eligibility requirements, of course.

good deal; i keep track of this stuff:

Platinum Delta Airlines AMEX

Approved for The Card on 10/21/2013 CHECK
Receive The Card on 10/24/2013 CHECK
Used for the first time on: 11/6/2013 CHECK

Must use The Card by: Immediately DONE
Must spend $1,000 by: Within 90 days balance is $1,038.79 as of 11/19 doesn't not include airline tix DONE
Must charge Delta Airlines ticket by: Within 90 days charged $181.60 airline tix on 11/20/2013 DONE

On Nov 7 is appears I earned 15,000 WELCOME miles = 10,000 bonus miles + 5,000 MQM bonus CORRECT

Balance is 110,887 as of 11/19/2013 CONFIRMED
Balance is 140,888 as of 11/25/2013 CONFIRMED
^based on 35,000 miles each way US to Northern Asia, this is enough for 2 people RT.

planning to get more miles by spending $1,000; 20,000 bonus miles + 10,000 MQM bonus = 30,000 miles COMPLETED/CONFIRMED
planning to get a $100 statement credit by charging a ticket COMPLETED/CONFIRMED

CANCELLED on 11/10/2014

Got it first try, NOT incognito. Thanks OP!

Edit #1:

The moment I logged into my AMEX acct, it reverted to 40K. Incognito it is!

Edit #2:

"MARTY McFly, based on your history with credit card balance transfers, American Express welcome offers, introductory APR offers, or the number of Cards you have opened and closed, you are not eligible to receive the welcome offer.

We have not yet performed a credit check. Would you still like to proceed?

Note: Your application will be considered withdrawn if no action is taken on this page."

Even though I was able to replicate the offer, I was notified right before submitting that I wouldn't be eligible for the welcome bonus. Only other Amex card I've ever had is the Platinum and was approved for it over 90 days ago.

I reached out to their customer support and was notified that I wasn't eligible because I applied for an offer that wasn't intended for me. Seems targeted so ymmv even if you can get the offer showing on the browser.

It was just a note after you filled everything out on the application but before clicking Submit. The note stated :

"Based on your history with American Express welcome offers, introductory APR offers, or the number of cards you have opened and closed, you are not eligible to receive this welcome offer.

We have not yet performed a credit check. Would you still like to proceed?"
