My local Lowes had several of these, as well as several other colors/paints also marked down extensively. Bought 2 of the satin nickel to paint some old bathroom fixtures in hopes of avoiding replacement.
YW! Hope you took a little time to look around - Lowe's is chock full of clearance stuff right now. Picked up quite a few staples that we use for our rental the past several weeks. light fixtures, bulbs, ceiling fans.

Where do you look? Just at the ends of the isles where it says clearance or do you have any other tips?

It was right in line with all the other spray paint - they just had different shelf tags for clearance. There were several others in the traditional can, but can't remember which colors they were. The store I was in also still had the $8 exterior paint on the shelf from the other FPSD a few days ago - in both the white-white base and the deep base...probably 8-10 gallons total. Good luck!
one other note - I went in for a different deal a few weeks ago and they couldn't find the item. He looked on a different gadget and found the location right away. He said it was a brand new system that they were starting to use called SIMS[???] or something like that. He told me it would have taken half an hour the old way, but only 30 seconds with the new system.

thats good advice...if you need help in the store and the lowes person uses their phone they are on the app so what you really need is someone with one of the store gizmos which are on a whole different system...hope that helps someone
What are you guys painting with this? I need an excuse to go buy it
using it to renew old bathroom lights, but in the past I used the bronze to paint an entire patio set - one of those green ones with a metal mesh tabletop and chairs. It worked great and I only have to hit a few touchup spots on it every year or two.
Thanks OP - I was able to get 4 cans of the flat nickel at the Sherman TX store and there were another 20 left in the spray paint display. I did not find the flat bronze in that area or the clearance end caps.
Note if you want to color match existing painted items: that you cant layer oil on latex paint easily; and this is "Oil-based formula provides a durable protective coating with excellent resistance to abrasion, fading, chipping and dulling"
Which I think means if you already have something painted with latex based paint, and want the new thing to match colors with a top coat... then you cant use this oil paint over your latex paint.

Can I Use Oil-based Paint Over Latex Primer? If you are using latex primer or paint on any surface, do not use oil-based paints. Oil-based paints and primer usually lift the latex product and leave you with a wrinkled surface that looks like alligator skin on the outside. https://artradarjournal.com/2021/...-primer/#7
Can I Put Oil Over Latex?
Oil-based paint can be used to cover latex, even though it is not the easiest thing to do. You should also remember that latex paint is flexible, whereas oil paint is rigid. Latex will never adhere to oil paint correctly. Latex can eventually split and crack when oil-based paint is applied directly to it.
And if I want to paint a new plastic or wood part with this Oil primer, then cover it with an existing Latex color (to match the existing Latex house paint) - then I can use this oil primer, correct? I got different answers, saying yes, then saying the Latex will peal.

Can You Use Water-Based Paint Over Oil-Based Primer?
Using water-based paint over oil-based primer is highly recommended. You can use an oil-based primer with any type of paint. However, the steps you take may differ. Oil-based primer is recommended over any oil topcoat of paint. But you can add a water-based paint as the top coat or sand the primer to apply water-based paint directly on top. https://painttopics.com/can-you-u...ed-primer/

I found it at the spray paint aisle under a yellow clearance sign. At my store there was also 20+ satin nickel available.

My kid would love this for DIY costumes and fake weapons/movie props. He's a big fan of YouTubers that do those kinds of things.
