Probably zero to none if used as directed.
This looks like a competitor Mr Heater big buddy
Plenty of people use Mr heater in a tent, just make sure you take a Carbon Monoxide Detector and I would keep it placed off the tent with a wood board or something that won't melt or catch fire easily.

Best part? Every single one of those links were about propane devices that were NEVER RATED FOR INDOOR RESIDENTIAL USE. You are one of those who takes his charcoal grill inside his livingroom...right? LOL

Me: Bye bye.

You have a very strange definition of the word "fact," you keep using that word incorrectly. You feelings do not = facts.

According to you propane does not belong indoors because someone once misused an outdoor propane appliance. Outdoor gas grill accidents happen all the time...so no more cooking inside? That is your "fact" as you like to call it.

What is a "fact" is all that "regulation and requirements" that you were pounding your chest about....DO ALLOW PROPANE USE INDOORS AND WITH PORTABLE APPLIANCES DESIGNED AROUND INDOOR USE. That is a "fact" aka 'a piece of information presented as having objective reality.' (Bet you feel insulted right now) You setup "regulation and requirements" as some sort of monolith however now you know better than this flawless system LMAOLMAOLMAO

And yes yes yes, started it for you since this is the only way you can articulate your "facts." And I did not mean that as an insult however as an observation...or "fact" dare I say laugh out loud

As an outside observer with nothing invested other than enjoying the show, this was a lame response and kind of sounds like you have no real response to his last comment. Perhaps you would like to elaborate as to exactly how his response has redirected us all and why you are, in fact, correct in this back and forth. Popcorn

I would love to keep you entertained.

But then I have to go into detail explanation about indoor vs outdoor consequences due to a leak or improper installation. If WooHoo2You is not able grasp the difference then this will be a very long conversation.

I think I have made it very clear. The device has no sensor between the tank and the internal sensor/valve, any issue between the two when using indoors is going result in a human BBQ.

You've yet to go into any "detail." And I, unlike you, seem to grasp the difference between " indoor vs outdoor" as all your silly links were OUTDOOR rated heaters causes problems when used INDOOR. And what "installation" does a heater with a handle require???? Does it require tying into 3 phase power or integration into an external IAQ system? LOL...really. Please, I have been asking for this "detail" for 10 posts now but all you can come up with is "me, you, me, you." Sad really..

Again, I am the one here who seems to understand the subtle difference between when you can see the sun outside and when the 'sky' is made of drywall. I'm not the one posting youtube videos of industrial fish tank heaters catching fire. Not sure about you but my house lacks 5000 gallon fish tanks.

No you have not said anything specific. I've been asking.

Please please please please link to where you "made it very clear" prior. I'd love that quote to settle things Wink Wink Wink Wink

And yes, this device does have a oxygen depletion sensor. Let me know if you would like a breakdown of how the ODS is involved in the operation of the heater. There is clearly an in "between" on the wiring diagram.

Odd because the people who write the "regulation and requirements" beg to differ. Maybe you can find a more recent (and unrelated) case from 2013 of a "human BBQ."

Yes, that fish pond heater was an excellent example. Thanks for bringing it up Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) Oh, maybe you were talking about those outdoor only dish heaters (that sit on 20lb LP tanks) that you also thought was related because someone brought them inside when they should not have. Going back in the forums is great for a laugh LMAO

Millions of these things sell per year and that was the best thing you could find. Sounds like bigfoot might be more dangerous.

I have a feeling you'll be needing this:

The ODS on this heater is the design of the pilot flame. This is *very* sensitive, just a small bump will extinguish it. Low oxygen level will lift the flame, which will then shut it off.

Oh, and don't feed the trolls.
