Don't understand the hype of these chairs considering their cost. Former employer had these and they were good, no doubt, but honestly doesn't feel much different sitting 8 hours in these vs a mesh chair from almost anywhere else, considering the price difference I mean.

These chairs last forever 15-20 yrs nothing breaks if you keep them in good condition. I bought the ones made in 2004 mesh feels like new I only needed to replace foam under thigh support. Aeron are made in USA. Others cheap stuff all made in China won't last you 2-3 yrs.

My $150 ikea chair has lasted 8 years so far, 10-12 hours per day. Not a comment on quality of the Aeron, but
