There are literally photos of the folding mechanism up close on the product page, from customers, let alone the word "folding" on both the product description and on the box.
This is great for picking up the ladies
I purchased this a few weeks ago. Great product if you intend on riding on smooth Surfaces/Sidewalks. I live in Los Angeles where the streets can be a bit rough, expect to fly off the second you hit a large pothole. I found the ride quality to be a bit bumpy on streets and bumps with some rattling. Decent scooter if you're looking for an entry level.

I have the Ninebot Max 30lp(?) from Costco. It's good for what I need except way too heavy. Carrying it up and down 2 flights of stairs on my destination and another flight when I get home is really cumbersome at almost 45#. I was hoping this would be a cheap lightweight alternative for my short daily commute. Alas, at 33# and less than half of the range of my Max, I have to wonder what is this made of.

Does it fold down nicely for commuting on the train

Yes it folds, keep in mind there's no actual physical break on the rear- the rear panel seems a bit fragile and may be easy to break (this is used for the locking mechanism).

Bring a tow rope and pick up ladies that are roller skating by the beach.
