You are right. It won't show $3 estimated rewards when you ordered online.
But it also didn't say "In-store only" on the page of $3 rewards.

I didn't expect the $3 reward when I placed the order. It is just small surprise for me and maybe it is YMMV.

Hope someone can reproduce it in other stores.

You can. But if it's the "spend xxx and get xxx" type of offer only the total after deducting the walgreens cash counts.

I did the Colgate at the store to be safe. It printed out a $3 off coupon (like the old Register Rewards) good for 2 weeks.

Thanks OP for the post. Yeah I've been accumulating Toothpaste for like the last month with the clip on coupons and manufacturer coupons. Ended up getting $10 in WAGS after the cashier messed up one order. Now just been paying cents off the difference of WAGS. Sucks WAGS has to be in dollar amounts.
