This is hideous.

I have seen complaints that the wireless ones are prone to drift. I have not seen complaints on the wired ones.

It might be that people buying the wired ones aren't expecting a lot from a ~$15 controller or use them less often. As one data point, I have the Mario one that is the "enhanced" version with back buttons / headphone connection. I have not had any issues with it, but it doesn't get that much use.

Thanks! I would be using on a PC mostly, the connectivity would be slightly relevant to me but I would use wired

I don't have a Switch. Is this just an USB controller that can be used on other devices like PC, Pi, and Android phones/tablets? Thanks.

We have four of these models… two regular and two "enhanced"… and really like them. TOTALLY worth the $10-15 for a wired controller FYI. One of the enhanced started having minor drift finally after prolonged use, but they have been waaaay more reliable than our wireless ones.

The difference between the two models: the "enhanced" is slightly larger, slightly lighter, and has a couple extra programmable buttons on the back. (Edit: as orlanth pointed out, the enhanced ones also have a 3.5mm audio jack to plug in headphones directly to the controller.)Personally we like the regular ones as they feel more solidly made (heavier too) and work better for regular to small hands. Just in case that helps anyone.

Cheers and thanks OP!

Enhanced controller also has the 3.5mm audio jack for headphones. Huge feature if you have roommates/partner and want to play while they are sleeping.
