Picked one up a few hours ago. So far, I don't love the trackpad at all. Feels cheap when clicking. As mentioned above, the screen is not the greatest. Speakers are not very loud, but I don't mind that. I'm happy with it considering the price. Just ordered some ram and will upgrade it to 20gb. Happy to answer any questions.

Also, I just upgraded to Windows 11. As someone who has only had macOS for the last decade, I am blown away! Windows 11 is pretty slick!

Yes. 11th-gen i5 has twice the cores and can do light gaming with the Iris Xe graphics. Plus more RAM and storage? No-brainer if you're in the market for a budget laptop.

RAM and drive upgrade video here [youtube.com]
Note the guy says Asus use 3 different length screws in this laptop so you have to remember which screws go where.
I have an Asus TMO router that is still running strong after 7+ years so that is good.
However I once owned an Asus X551CA laptop and that was very difficult to upgrade. The drive is under the keyboard and there is a short ribbon cable that connects the keyboard to the motherboard. To get to the RAM you have to loosen 10+ screws and remove the motherboard and flip it over. That's what the Youtube video for the Asus X551CA said you had to do so I did not even attempt to upgrade the RAM and used it with 4GB of RAM until I sold it. I wrote an email to Asus support and complained about the design. Again the screws were different lengths and I mixed them up by accident.
