Captain Obvious has arrived. Next the wannabe dieticians will arrive to tell you that lettuce and water are healthier options!

These used to be great when they came out, it was an easy way to make a pound of cheap hamburger feed a family. Not so much anymore, when is the last time you found cheap hamburger

I remember eating this as a kid when Hamburger Helper was a new thing. My dad hated it (but ate it anyway). I loved it. It's a nostalgic guilty pleasure for me. Thanks OP.

These things are insane calorie bombs. I remember I bought one in college and was shocked at that. To each their own though.

Hamburger helper and Manwich/sloppy joes were Americanized dinner treats my family would have once in awhile when growing up. Looking back now, it's basically ground beef mixed with prepackaged tomato based seasoning/ sauce. Probably doesn't take much effort to make your own version of hamburger helper, just buy the noodles, sauce, cheese, etc separately

Ingredients also look like a chemistry experiment.

Lettuce and water are healthier options.

Agreed. I bought it just for the nostalgia. I now know it's unhealthy, but whatever.

The reviews from 2021 are all saying this new formula are bad, I see Hamburger Helper has many flavors/varieties, which one is good? Never tried it before.

Beef Pasta was always my fav flavor. I always added frozen vegetables and Tobasco sauce to it. Man...it was so bad (in a good way) and savory, especially on colder days.
